Satellite Finder - a tool to set up satellite dish and find tv channels
This is the pay version of SatFinder. This app use magnetometer (compass) sensor.SatFinder (Satellite Finder) is a tool which will help you to set up satellite dish. It will give you azimuth, elevation and LNB tilt for your location (based on GPS) and chosen satellite from list. The result is shown both as numeric data and graphical on google maps. It has also built in compass which will help you to find proper satellite azimuth.The satellite list is complete and includes all televison satellites, so the app should work worldwide. If you found some errors please send me e-mail. It will help me make this app better ;)Since version 1.07 there is whole world FTA and encrypted channels database. It take a few seconds to show whole list so be patient. It use internet connection. Top 10 countries got fixed language on nice list. The list will be updated. The users from another countries can type language manual. But the list uses language shortcuts, for example - English = eng, German = ger, etc... The channel list is still incomplete - Im working on it. If you find error on list please send me e-mail...bug fix

Well first one i tried that actually pointed where it should and fast to. i put phone in the feed holder of my L-band dish and right on :)

I have used this app for over 5 years whilst touring the UK and Europe. Very easy to use. Where ever you are . Set the dish up then follow the picture on the app. That easy.
it shows the position of sattellite but still no signal on tv.
Its work for me
Good as satellite brief info. But why the channel list have no satellite filter??? Instead this there are several unimportant filters... The app has big enhancements potential.
